Lying Adductor Stretch with Band

Muscles Involved: Adductor muscles (inner thigh)

Instructions

  • Lie flat on the floor.
  • Grab a band and loop it around your left foot.
  • Pull the band to pull your left leg back towards you.
  • Try to keep your leg as straight as you can.
  • Once you’ve pulled your leg back towards you, use the band to now pull your leg out to the side.
  • You should begin to feel a stretch in your groin and inner thigh.
  • Lower your leg out to the side using the band.
  • Try to touch the ground with the side of your leg.
  • Hold your leg out to the side for 30 seconds before switching to the other leg.
