*A straight bar or EZ bar can be used for this exercise.
- Stand with the bar in front of you. You should have an overhand grip on the bar.
- Pull the bar up along your body until it gets to your chest.
- Elbows are up and out to the side as you’re pulling the bar up. The bar should stay very close to your body as you’re pulling up.
- Slowly lower the bar back down to the starting position in front of you.
