Elevated Standing Hamstring Stretch
Muscles Involved: Hamstrings
Instructions
Stand in front of a bench, step, or box. The height can vary, but the higher the surface, the more of a stretch you can get.
Place your left foot on the elevated surface so only your heel is on it.
Keep your leg that is on the elevated surface straight.
Lean your upper body forward until you feel a good stretch in your hamstrings.
You can try to reach for your toes.
Hold this stretch for 30 seconds before switching to the right leg.
